Hi All / Anyone

I am fairly new at this but I have read this book and it is logical therefore I now want to do the exercises. However after having loaded PHP and MYSQL I can get not further.
When I enter MYSQL.EXE as requested on pg 35 I am returned
Error 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'Localhost' (using password: No)

How do I enter a password of required.

Hi Replying to myself for grnrtsl benifit.

I had loaded ApacheFreinds and couod find no confirmation that this would run with IIS which I had used with Beginning Dreamweaver. I attempted to remove Apache (Half Succeeded.) I then reloaded PHP and MySq. There is a new download for Mysql which easily loaded and put a link under start/programs/mysql derver 4.1/mysql/either command prompt or the wizzard. This book says that there will be some disadvantages loading using this method. For me I can get started and retrack later.

Hi. I know you posted a long time ago and have probably fix your problem, but I thought I'd add my 2 pennith worth in. I am currently using phpdev (quick google and you can download the latest stable version). This gives you, php, MySQL, MyPHPAdmin, apache. I am very new to this and I could get this to work, and I can, anyone can.
