Hello Everybody,
                    i am using JMeter 2.1.1, and i want to do some functional testing of an application. Can anyone please let me know what exact steps do i need to follow for doing a functional testing of a portlet.

One more question: is it possible to log in as different users in JMeter to do the load testing? If yes then how do i do that???

Hi Deb,

 I donot know about functional testing using Jmeter. But you can add multiple users for load testing by using the HTTP Authorization manager.Right click on your thread group, Add->config element->HTTP Authorization MAnager. This should give you fileds to mention your user name and password (Click add button to add fields. You can also load the data from a file using load!) Hope this helps!
