Default Creating letters/reports

I want to be able to print out letters from my VB application using data supplied from Sql Server 2005 as well as static data. I need to use some controls who expand and collapse depending on the length of text in the database. The same controls must be able to be broken up over pages if the need arises. Does anyone have examples of that? This book is great at many database issues, but I thought it would have more about formatting/displaying the data. Can anyone help? Please:D

You might be able to design a report with ReportViewer controls to emulate a letter. I haven't tried it, but the basic information to get started is here: http://oakleafblog.blogspot.com/2006...ndows-and.html

I found it relatively simple to control Word to do what I wanted for the letters, but I have other reports to create too. Your article on using the ReportViewer control that you mentioned was very complete. It is exactly the resource that I have been looking for. THANKS!!!
