Default Custom configuration of Lookup results

Hello all,

Although the forum seems relatively dead, I was curious to see if there was anyone still lurking around who might be able to assist me with a question I have regarding the customization of lookups on the Blackberry handheld.

As far as I know, MAPI retrieves the same 3 fields (First Name, Last Name, Company) on each lookup. Does anyone know if it is possible to pick and choose fields from AD besides those listed above?

Upon researching I have determined LDAP is an available option, but have also heard that the fields are hard coded within the blackberry software.

At this point, although hopeful that there is a "hack" available, I am expecting that there is not a solution available.

If anyone could shed some light on this issue I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Default

Just an update (sorry a bit late)

This functionality won't be available until BES5 (Argon) slated for sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2009.
