Default wsadmin j2c connection factory

hi, can someone enlighten me on how to configure custom properties using wsadmin tool?
.
i know how to do this in websphere admin console: install rar, add j2c connection factory, and under additional properties, in the custom properties area i can specify some of the properties such as the hostname, datastore and portnumber.
.
my problem is that i'm writing a jacl scrip to do all this and i know how to install the rar file and create a connection factory for the resource adapter but can't seem to figure out/find any resources in configuring the custom properties. i need to configure at least the hostname, datastorename and portnumber for this to work.
.
thanks in advance...
