Here is the Problem.

While designing the Form set a default value for the dropdowns( the dropdown values are bound to a lookup XML ). Now, when you open the form, you can see default values on the dropdown. But when you click on save, without changing the default value, the assigned value of that dropdown won't be saved in the XML file.


Is this a known bug in infopath?
What is the work around for this?
