Default convert SQL express to SQL for website

The book has a single paragraph on this. And it sounds like a breeze! But after a month of searching and talking with my web hosting service, I still don't have a clue as to how this is done. Can comeone direct me to a place that explains, in plain English, how I can accomplish this feat. Thanks
