I have followed the instructions given and downloaded the Updated Web Plus Edition Starter Kit for My Movie Collection from the Microsoft link http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/do...s/default.aspx. I can carry out at search and receive back a number of results following a search request. When I select a title to add to My collection I receive an error "There was a problem adding this DVD to the collection". Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

You might check the AddCurrentToCollection function in SearchOnline.vb. That seems to be where the error message is generated.

I am having the same problem. When I installed SQL Server Express, I got a message that some of the components were not installed because IIS (Internet Information Services) was not installed. I did some research and found out that IIS is only available for Windows XP Professional Edition. Since I am using the Home Edition, I am assuming that this application will only work with the Professional Edition. I thought about upgrading, but the new Windows Vista is being released the end of January, so I thought I would wait until then to continue with the book.
