Tool Strip doesn't work as described

Can't get the toolstrip "type here" Anyone know why it doesn't show? It works onthe menustrip but not the toolstrip. It will only let me add items :(

Dont use admin / root accounts and nowt will go wrong

What I did was type into the menustrip get the words to show up and the image and then copied and pasted it to the toostrip.
