Default Just Starting - Some Worries

Having just bought the book c/w CD and installed the software I noticed some anomalies. I am glad the book pointed me to this forum as I have already found solutions here to a couple of problems. What worries me is - How many more will I find? For example the exercise error at the end of Chapter 2 which is answered on here as being an errata but is not in the list of errata for this book.

Can anyone who has completed the book advise on what to expect?

Hi there...

I still haven't finish the book, but I can tell you that there is a few little things here and there. If you look at the two previous topics of the forum (both mine) you can find two errors I had to deal with.

Unfortunately, this book is not that new, so this forum is not as "proactive" as you may wish, meaning that not too many people really takes the time to respond to the posts any more.

Any how, up to chapter 8 I have not seen any major errors that have not being declared as erratas, so I would encourage you to keep going with the book, since it is a very good and methodic for beginers like myself.

Thanks for the encouragement, getting to grips with it slowly so I'll persevere to the end.
