Shift + Enter OR Shift+Double-Click

Hi All,

I have an Access Database with a form where users can click on buttons to see different types of report. What I want to do is, when users open the database, they can ONLY see the form(and nothing else); all other objects(table, marcro, query, etc.) are hidden.

The only way to see all the objects in the database when they open it is to hold down the SHIFT+ENTER Key or SHIFT+Double-Click the mouse. I know this can be done(b/c someone sent me an database that has this function), the only problem is, I don't know how to do this "locking" the users. Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Leon

Go to tools & startup. Select the form you want the database to open with, and uncheck the option to show the database window on open. This should set you up.

Laura

It works! Thanks Laura! That was simple. I thought I have to create some kind of "advance" Macro or something.
