Subform Not Showing

I have a simple form with a tab control. On the second tab I have a subform which is based off another table. When I go to form view and click on tab2 the subform does not show up. But the label for it does. Any suggestions?

Does it show up in Design Mode? If so, is its Visible property set to Yes or True?

It show up in design mode and the obvious place to look is the visible property....which is set to true....I never changed it...I didn't change any properties what so ever....I even used the wizard to create the subform. Still doesn't work.

Is the subform connected to the main form by a parent/child relationship? If so, it could be that there are no records associated to the related key in the main form. That would give you zero records and the subform would not be populated.

So within the subform, neither the subform nor any of its objects show up? Does this occur in ALL instances of the subform, or does the subform display for records that contain data? If the later:
1. Is the the field set as "link child field" null?
2. Is the datasource for the subform "read only" (or the database property set to read only)
3. Is the datasource for the subform a union query?

I've had that happen consistently in subforms in single form view only and have not found a way around it.
