HTML to ASPX

HEy guys I am pasting my html code (from a ready built temaplte) into the dedign view in my ASP.NET project without overwriting the yellow header at the top of course, however when i view the page in the browser the table seems a bit lower than when i view it its original html form. I am not changing anything with the layout but still a few things seem different..Is there a way to solve this problem?

thank Susan

Hi Susan,
take a look at the source code for the page and see if there is any unexpected HTML, also see that the ASPX page you pasted to is in layout view and not grid view.
Also this subject would be better asked in ASP.NET forum rather than Web Service.
http://p2p.wrox.com/asp-net-asp-12 , then choose your flavour.
You will get better response from there most of the time.

If you pasted into Grid View there is probably some Style attributes set that where not originally in the page.

Thank you ill paste it now:)

Ill check concerning the GridLayout thing. I know for sure that in the end my web page is in Flow Layout however im not sure whether the page is in Grid or Flow layout as soon as i choose to paste (when i create the new web page that is).

Thanks
Susan
