back frame

Hi,

I want that when I click on back button if browser, it shoudl open previous frame rather than previous URL. I need it on MacOS browsers like safari etc.

Or Do u have any idea how to capture the event when user click on browser's back button?

Any Idea?

Thanks,
Rama

This should take you to the previous page:

opener.history.go(0);

FYI Frames behave very badly id not coded correctley. I advice against frames unless you have a specific purpose for them. IME they are being used less and less. For all the reasons why ask google 'why are frames so bad'

This behaviour sounds like the browser is insisting the form variables be re-posted, is it? If so, this is normal browser behavior. I dont suggest it (IMO session variables should be used sparingley) however if you use them it will eliminate the browser insisting the form variables be re-posted.
