Being new to Access leave it to me to try something new that I dont know how to undo.

I got to a point where I was happy with where I was so I wanted to try and backup. Well, I couldnt figuire out how to "save as" so i pressed "Replication"....

I have a Backup File from the replication is there a way i can go back to my unreplicated DB? basically undo what I did.

Normally I take my post off if I find the Answer before anyone answers, but in this case i want to post it.

simply open the back up file in access and delete the replica.

I was scared there for a minute.

I usually make a copy and rename the copy with the date and time last saved (ie: myfile 02082007 1425.mdb). Then make a note of the name, date and what was added (design changes) in a log I keep. Then LATER if I find something is amiss I have an idea of where I was in each copy. I've also gotten in the habit of making and archiving a copy BEFORE and AFTER I make changes as well. So if a form corrupts (and this HAS happened, but rarely) I have a place to get a good copy from.

I have another problem

The Backup is a .bak can I simply put a .mdb at the end and it will still work?
