block browser back button in asp.net URGENT
i am working in asp.net/vb.net
i want to disable a user to go back on previous page after signout page.
please help me in detail, how it is possible

Hi there,

Have you searched Google? Did you try the built-in search engine of the Wrox forum?

This must be the most FAQ of all FAQs.

BTW: this is a *classic* ASP forum; you may be better off posting in one of the ASP.NET forums here at p2p.wrox.com if you think the server technology is relevant to your question.

BTW 2: Adding URGENT is usually considered a bad practice. Of course it's urgent. If it wasn't urgent, you wouldn't be posting here but instead spend days thinking about it. However, it's urgent to *you*, not to the people that may have an answer.

Don't cache any pages that are "Members Only" which will force the page to reload when it is navigated to (even if the user presses the back button). You can not remove the functionality of the user to be able to press their "Back" button. hth.
