Turning a regular ASP.NET App into an AJAX ASP.Net
I just downloaded AJAX for ASP.Net this morning and I've been working on a web app for about a month now so I have many classes and pages already created. But it looks like the only way I can use any of the AJAX controls is to create an AJAX enabled website. This means I would have to create the new AJAX enabled website and then add in all my other pages. Is there away that I can convert my regular ASP.NET website project into an AJAX enabled website so I can see not only all the AJAX controls on my toolbox but also the AJAX Extensions tab on my toolbox and the scriptmanager on all the pages?

Hi there,

Take a look here:

It explains how to configure an existing ASP.NET site for Ajax.

You can manually add the Ajax items to the toolbox. Right-click it, click Choose items and then browse for the Ajax DLL.

thanks very much,
I went to the link you gave me and followed the directions and it worked perfectly. My website is now AJAXified.
