Hi Ossy,

Thanks for doing this. I'll ask Jim to make this a sticky post in the forum, so it's easier to find....

Cheers,

Imar

This link does not work anymore.

Thank you.

Hmmm, indeed it seems to down. Maybe you can contact ostwald through his profile page (http://p2p.wrox.com/pop_profile.asp?...splay&id=64757) and ask for a new download link?

Thanks for the link to his profile. But I don't see any contact info available. How do I send him email?

Thanks/Ryan

Click the link on that page that says 'Click to send an Email' to send an email to ostwald.

I still don't see that link. Could you please attach a screenshot or could you send email to my email address? ryanwei88@gmail.com

Thanks/Ryan

Heuh?

Make sure you are logged in in p2p.wrox.com. Then go here: http://p2p.wrox.com/pop_profile.asp?...splay&id=64757

At the left side of the user info section you see a list with Recent Topics. Right above that you should see:

E-mail User: Click to send an E-Mail

If you don't see that, I am afraid a screen shot won't help you as it's simply not there..... ;) Maybe searching for Click to send on that page would help....

I guess they removed the link. Could anybody send the code to my email? ryanwei88@gmail.com

Thanks much/Ryan

dparsons December 13th, 2007 12:31 AM

Forum user emails are physcially hidden from all other users. The forum physcially sends an email to XYZ user on your behalf. Also, the link that says "Click to send an E-Mail" has not been removed as it is a feature of the forum.

I just opened the link in Imars post and if you look where it says "User Profile" you will most certainly see the link.

Otherwise hit Ctrl + F while on the page and type Click to send in the box that appears and hit enter, the find dialog will jump to the link Imar and I are talking about.

I guess the only answer I can think of is there is some kind of rules to restrict starting members to send email to advanced users. Other than that, I don't know why.

Thanks anyway/Ryan

I would, if I had it.

The whole point of contacting Ostwald is to get the code first.... ;)
