HTML tags issue..

Hi All,

Posting a new issue.

In my XSL file I am using output method = 'XML' in order to generate PDF like
    <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" indent="yes" encoding="UTF-8"/> .

Now if I use XML outout method the HTML tags are not rendered by XSLT parser. They appear as it in the output PDF.

I can't use HTML method as the XSLT parser is unable to generate FO in that case.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance

As Mike has already said, there may not be FO experts in this forum.

When you are getting the output in xml, all elements belong to that xml file only. The tags may be same as html tags, but they are not actually html tags.

You should write seperate templates for all those elements, for which rendering is needed.

I'm confused, and I think that's because you are confused.

If you are trying to generate PDF via XSL-FO, then where does HTML come into it? XSL-FO and HTML are completely different vocabularies. If you are generating XSL-FO, your stylesheet should not be generating any HTML elements.
