snail's pace forum
This forum does not serve its purpose very well.

On top of not having a room for the book
I have been studying from, it seems that
most of people here are just cruising and
it will take 200 readings to get a response.

By the time someone bothers... I am through with the
I check in here occasionally, but better find
what I need from somewhere else...

We are only offering rooms for books that Wiley purchased from Wrox Press. That may be why your book is not listed - and the main reason we decided to offer an alternative "other Wrox books forum." You can post your question on a book that Wiley did not purchase here and see if someone can answer.

If you are not aware, WROX books was put into liquidation and Wiley purchased a portion of the books and the brand. A forum was made for each of the books Wiley purchased.

Wiley has been kind enough to provide this "Other Wrox Books" forum as a place for the customers of "Classic Wrox" to post questions. However, Wiley has no business dealings with the books or the authors of those books and does not even have rights to those books they can not provide "direct" support.

If you post a question in this forum with the title of the book as the subject- hopefully someone who has used the book can help with the question.

Ok.. I did not know anything about all
these business deals, but why should I?

I came here because the logo ontop says "WROX",
it matches the logo on my book. The site is called

I have no idea who/what Wiley is and what it has
bought out and I dont care.
I am just a consumer and user who's trying to
participate and use the resourfes indicated by the
book I use.
Maybe I just had to be very "grateful" to Wiley for allowing
rooms for the "others".
Enough said.

I am not sure what your meaning is- but Wiley is not responsible for the commitments made by the old company. That parent company still exists and you can contact the liquidator and see if you can put in a claim against the companies assets for a refund on the book since you feel they have not met their commitment to support you.

However, to blame Wiley for the problems you have with the old owners of Wrox is unfair. They are providing what support they CAN. I suggest you contact http://www.apress.com and see if they can assist you with the problem with your book. Most books that were not purchased by Wiley went to A*Press.
