Which one works on more browsers or is more reliable...XML or JSON. I need this to work on as many browsers as possible.

Is there a reason to use XML instead of JSON? (JSON is faster than XML, but are there any good reasons to stick with XML)

Thanks! [:)]

It depends on what you want to do. I primarily use XML files for settings and configuration. I use JSON to send information between the browser and server.

As far as support, you'll get more mileage out of JSON. Since every browser supports JavaScript, JSON is inherently supported.
