Login Question

Hello there

I love working with this book. Just had one question, I was looking at the finished site (http://aspnet35.planetwrox.com/) When the user signs in, at the bottom it says "You are signed in as user name" (Logout). However at the top where it says Home, Reviews, Gig Pics and About, it says Login. Is there a way to change it so that it says Logout as well?

Hi there,

Good to hear you like the book so much.

You posted this in the 4.0 forum, yet you're referring to the 3.5 version of the web site, Which version are you using?

You can do it, but it's not so easy. The Login link comes from the sitemap which always just contains the Login item. What you could do is remove that link from the sitemap, and add it to the Menu or TreeView on the fly programmatically. Not very easy, but certainly possible.

These links may help:

Let me know if you need some help with this,

Cheers,

Imar

Thanks Imar. I'm using the 4.0 book, however I was exploring the 3.5 version as well. I figured I'd ask, but thanks for the link and I will definitely be asking for help for the Login when I finish the site. [:)]
