Tab-Control in ASP.NET 4.0
In Windows-Form you can work with Tab-Controls, but is in ASP.NET 4.0 such Controller? A Code with it? Thanks

Nope, not directly.

However, if you search Google you find a number of commercial products that feature a Tab control, such as this one: http://www.devexpress.com/Products/N...trols/ASP/Tab/

Additionally, you can look at jQuery UI or the ASP.NET AJAX Toolkit: http://www.asp.net/ajaxlibrary/act_TabContainer.ashx

hay armume00,
there is no such control like this in asp.net
but you can use Ajax

Hi Avrail,

How, exactly, would AJAX help in creating a tab control?

hay imar,

Yes, that's the AJAX *control toolkit* which I was already referring to in an earlier post. Control toolkit is the keyword here, not necessarily AJAX.

Your post seemed to suggest that AJAX alone, as a technology, would help which is certainly not the case.

tab menu
what a coincidence, i was just about to post a similar question when i found this thread [:)]

i would like to implement the following tab menu:
tab menu link

how would you implement this ? maybe with the asp.net menu control combined with the tab Container of the AJAX Toolkit ? or with jquery ?

thanks a lot for answers

Not sure if any of the solutions mentioned can do this. The menu itself is easy with the Menu control, but the first expanded item with multiple sub levels isn't.

Maybe the menu control from commercial vendors such as DevExpress can do it.
