Upgrading from UCCAPI to Lync
I am currently developing an application using UCCAPI and OCS. I want to start working with Lync 2010, however, I am afraid that if I install the new Lync APIs, I won't be able to continue development on our existing product line.

Can I have both installed on my system and they co-exist without any problems?

Thanks in advance,
Juan G.

As per the help documentation, Lync Client/Lync Server and OCS do not co-exist on the same machine and there is no side-by-side install. I've found this to be true by experience as well.

Unfortunately they can't coexist. I've had to use two separate development environments, one for OCS and one for Lync.
