Does anyone know of any FREE TOOLS for repairing Access databases?
Of course I'm well aware of the "compact and repair" feature of Microsoft Access, but I've run into database corruption problems in the past that could not be repaired with this feature. I've been reading through the Access forums on the wrox.com website (as well as many others) and there a lot of posts for paid tools for repairing corrupted access databases. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any FREE TOOLS available for repairing Access databases?

Thanks in advance,

access repairs
not exactly a free tool, but i remember a broken db that wouldnt open could still be linked to by a 2nd access db and then all the tables and queries etc imported into the 2nd db.
in most cases you wwould have a back up anyway so probably only need perhaps a few new entries from a few tables.

@Ozzz - Thank you for the suggestion here. I am aware of the solution of importing the database objects into a new database to fix a broken db. Actually, in this case, I'm specifically interested in finding out more about actual FREE TOOLS that are available. And I'm talking about tools that are actually FREE...not a free demo or any of that BS. So please, if you know of any tools that are ACTUALLY 100% FREE, just let me know!

@emilywilson339 - Have you actually tried this option Emily? Give it a shot and let me know which tools you come up with that are ACTUALLY 100% FREE! Please, show us all how smart you are!

Note: I guess emily felt she needed to make a fake account to post her "intelligent" reply here...or perhaps maybe emily just didn't want everyone to know who she really is. Either way, it is always interesting to see how much work a person is willing to go through, just to be a jerk to another person. Thanks for the effort emily - Congratulations, you're an idiot with way too much time on your hands!

Best Regards,

I do not think that you will get any free tool that can successfully repair corrupt Access database.
But when it comes to paid tool, then I would suggest you to use advance Access database repair tool like: http://www.stellarfilerepair.com/rep...s-database.php
