bought this 2010 programmer's reference

had already bought this book and also downloaded the code examples from site and began to read:

but problems are:
1, most chapters without the Access model example file to test, just some text file including code snippets, it is not good for novice to build their own Access ACCDB file
2, even not have loop function VBA knowledge to provide like do... while/ for... next. ect.

a little disappointed by this book

Have you tried one of the beginner Access books?

Hello ssysanny - Thank you for your message and feedback about the book. From what you've said here, I would recommend one of the beginner Access books. Really, the "Access 2010 Programmer's Reference" book is designed to be a programming and code reference manual for developers that are already very familiar with Microsoft Access development. However, it sounds like you're trying to find out more about the basics of Access, is that correct?

Immediately, without knowing more about your situation, I would recommend the "Acess 2010 24-Hour Trainer" book, which you can find here:
http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyT...470591676.html

But if you just need to know how to create loops in VBA, I would suggest this page:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...next-statement
and this page:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...loop-statement

Is that helpful? If there is anything else I can do to help with this, just let me know!
