Have tried it three ways. 1) Manually...

Have tried it three ways.

1) Manually "BACKUP DATABASE xyz TO DISK='...'
2) With Object Explorer Context menu TASK -> Backup
3) With Maintenance plans

All seems to log and be detectible...
