If you wish only to create entries in the database there is no need to use Hibernate if you do not want to wish to use a POJO.
Just use plain old JDBC.

There are a number of ways of doing this.
however the best way is putting this into the session in the action class or servlet, then using el in the jsp to retrieve it.
