1) calle; needs changing to called.

Chapter 19 could have mentioned Google Gears

I know the project is no longer being actively worked on, but this was an alternative to storing larger amounts of content client-side too.

P548. The paragraph under the Firefox implementation note in grey is really awkward to read, and I think it says the wrong thing.
You would have been better off just saying toString and toXMLString...

P308 error for script.text erroneous assignment in catch block

I think code doesn't need to be quoted in either the try or catch blocks. (the greyed out code shown prior to loadScriptString method)
It's a variable after all...

Why is script.text set to quoted code?
Surely the double quotes are incorrect in the catch block.

You have
var code = "function sayHi() {alert('hi');}";

Then later script.text = "code";

You aren't telling me anything I don't already know here! I was pointing out to the author, the omission of negative numbers in his list of bullet points made the final 'catch-all' statement invalid.

Number conversions - has an omission P35

In the final bullet point on P 35 you state 'if the string contains anything other than these previous formats, it is converted to NaN'

Well what about negative numbers? So "-35" wouldn't return...
