I am not sure I understand. It reverses the current array in memory that you are calling the function with. The book has an accidental comment on the reverse line so you have to remove the comment....

Your table has more columns. One 'Composition' is required and you are not inserted it so you insert fails. You need to insert a value into this column as well.
