Default extending xml

Hello,

I have one problem, so I hope you can help me to solve it. Simply, I have an xml file, lets call it "main.xml", and then I have another xml, "plugin.xml", so I wonder is it possible to extend main.xml using a plugin.xml as a plugin, thus I mean, I just can add one or more plugin xml files extending main xml. I dont wonna merge them, because in a case if i don't wanna use some plugin anymore I just delete the plugin, and do not correct the whole main.xml... I hope I've explained it correctly. Thanx a lot.

Looks like a case for XInclude. Or you could just use XML external entities.
