I am currently building an integration layer for a heathcare billing services company. I am looking for an HL7 database to speed up my project. Any databases aound (preferably SQL Server) other ran HL7v3 LTR 1.1?

Yes we used the HL7v3 LTR 1.1 database. It maps very well to the CDA document. I have a question about the role name: in the database you have a "ST" data type instead of an "EN". Is there a reason for that?

Since the Role name is a description of the role and is not used for searches, I have demoted it ro ST. By doing this, the EN will link only to the entity making the data structure more robust and more easy to implement by the middle tier.
