Unhappy CRViewer Logon Failed error within Visual Basic 6

I developed and tested a VB6 program that runs CR Viewer accessing with RDC Crystal Reports 11 reports from a folder on a remote server and uses data and queries from SQL2000 on the same server. All operating systems use MS XP3. My problem is that the program works on my desktop and a few others, but on the other 30 desktop/laptops I get an error when the programs gets to cr viewer to call the reports. I can use the other people's logon on my machine and it works, but I go to their's and it failes either with a logon failure or a "failed to open connection" error. I have checked the ODBC and the registery, the dll/s that were loaded, and the permissions on the folder in question, the database, and the queries in SQL. I am running out of issues that I can check. Does any one have ideas where else to check or make changes.
Errors -2147189155 Failed to open the connections.
-2147206270
-2147189176 Logon Failed
