hi all
/i have set of 5 CDs of SuSe9.1 linux destribution.
/the CD#1 fails to boot.
/so i created 3 startup floppies which load kernel successfully.
/BUT they can't further access the CDs on which the installation files are residing.
/can anybody spare times to think on it and guide me somehow?

sounds like you have either:
1. a faulty cd
2. a faulty cd drive

do you have access to another system, which you could use to check the boot cd is functional on?
