Maybe, maybe not. It's hard to tell without seeing the actual error message. Maybe you made a typo, maybe the database is located somewhere else; maybe your ASP.NET account doesn't have permission to read the database; who knows?

For a more useful answer, I think you should post the error message and maybe some of the relevant parts of the code.
