Just noticed your message. Hope this reply doesn't come too late.

There are some excellent FoxPro books on the market, but very few are aimed at beginners. The best one I can recommend is Menachem Bazian's "Special Edition", but even this is not ideal. It was a great help to me when I was learning, but then I already know dBASE and Clipper and other precursors of FoxPro.
