I need some some help with accessing a local webcam for stills from within a web page. I'm developing a quality control system that's web based and the idea is to have a locally connected web cam for capturing product images to upload to a database with the record.

I know I'll need to incorporate an activeX control in the web page - and that's one problem, I don't know of one. The second problem is that I'm not versed in VBscript for accessing that activeX control to take the pictures.

I'm hoping that someone has run into a similar problem and might be able to provide some insight or information.
