Okay, I'm ready to learn.
Ive picked up OReilly's Learning PHP and MySQL and PHP & MySQL Everyday Apps for Dummies. Are these books any good? I come from a design background and OReilly promises to cater to my needs, so I thought I would start with that one.

ALSO: Have any of you guys used PHP Designer 2007? I'm guessing that a decent amount of PHP know-how will still be needed. I dont suppose there are any WYSIWYG PHP editors out there? I dont mean to sound lazy here and i'm sure i'll feel more fulfilled if I actually learn this stuff, but its really just a means to an end -the production of a new online/mobile tool idea I have. If I have to learn it to use it well then I will, just wondering.

-And thanx for the replies.
