First I will admit to having a preference for C# over
VB although I am "bilingual" and can get through
VB with no problem. Most developers in the ASP.NET arena that I know are coding in C#. Since the previous books and development were done in C# I don't understand the move to
VB. I know I will get a few whines from a few students in the classroom but I will just have a good supply of cheese for that.
With that said, the book and approach is one of the best means of introducing new programmers/developers to n-tier website development. Most of my students have gotten a lot out of working with the website. I also like the addition of a photo gallery and calendar of events.
