Your post has been here for a long time, but I had the same problem. I found the solution and thought I'd answer it in case any one else ran across your post with the same issue.

To enable Class View in VCE you have to turn on "Expert Settings" by going to Tools > Settings > Expert Settings. When you go back to view, you will now see the "Class View".
