i am not a programmer, but i have had interest in e-commerce business.
and i have been reading this book "Beginning E-commerce with visual basic, asp, sql server 7.0 and MTS by matthew Reynolds." he led me to this site wrox.com were i could get codes but to my surprise this book has old material. i mean he says i need microsoft personal webserver (pws), microsoft frontpage 98 server extension and microsoft transaction server (MTS). But i cant find them anywhere and my guess this softwares doesnt work for windows 7 and i want to start an online business were people could buy stuff from from my online store.
since im new to the e-commerce business can anyone point me to the right direction.
and what will i need for the website set up
give me step by step leads that i could follow so that i could get my business up and running.
any help would be kindly appreciated.
