Not sure where to start...so here goes...

I've been tossed into the fire with this Wordpress stuff...made the admin of a wordpress sight by default...

I have a BS in Computer Info Systems and experience but I'm looking for a way to work Wordpress completely on my computer without FTP...

I'd much rather get it all right on my own computer before loading anything up on a server but don't see an easy way to do that...

I am running Firefox browser if that makes a difference...I have a site to admin but would much rather play with wordpress on my own computer.

Is there a way to do that?
