looking around a bit more.....do I need to alter the default hive for new users (ntuser.dat) and restrict the permissions for HKCU\Software\Recent File List there so that any new logons will pick it up ?

Where is ntuser.dat on Vista ? various people have said it is hidden - but where and how do I unhide it ?
