Hi everybody.

I'm new to the whole website design and stuff.
I'm doing a college project where user login to my site and upload and store various files.

The main features im trying to do is have the files uploaded compressed and encrypted is this possible.

I've researched into it. I'm using an apache server, php and mysql database
i also want to use a bit of javascript, html and css. is this ok

Also for documentation i was wondering about the architecture. i think it should be a client server but don't know whats going on the client side and whats going to be on the server side
