Default Locked files

Hi all,

I'm seeking some advice here... The company that I work for has quite a large group of in-house users that run our application before it ships to the field. They run it from an environment on the network. When a user is running the application it locks several files in the environment, which is fine until it's time to update the environment with new binaries etc. Previous to this time our application used the BDE(Borland Database Engine) and we could tell who was accessing the tables, but we just eliminated it so I need a new way to find who has the files lock or just to overwrite them, and then copy out the new files. As of now I don't have administrative rights on the server that the environment is hosted on... I'm trying to avoid this for security reason.

Thanks for any advice,
Raymond G
