The problem is being cause by the "automatic" URL detection in the Snitz forum software.

It is getting fooled by the extra "http://" in the URL.

The only way I can see to work around this is to turn off the automatic parsing and require that everyone use the URL forum code tags. When automatic parsing is off, then these kinds of URL's work fine inside of the forum tags.

Of course the disadvantage is that if you put in a URL without using the forum codes, then it won't be clickable.
