I own 2 books by Ivor Horton and one book by Mike B(long last long :) and I've found them to be guite helpful for study. There are a few examples that are wrong (and my 1 grief with Wrox or whoevers fault it was to discountinue the errata for Beginning C++: The Complete Language...but maybe it's related to Ivor Horton...whatever :) but overall, the books I have are very good... I can't comment on the multiple author thing though...for obvious reasons...

What Wrox really needs is ASM writers!!!!!
