If you have Enterprise Manager on your machine already- then you don't need to worry about it.. The Enterprise Manager tools are not included with the MSDE download- so obviously at some point the EM tools were installed separately.


A "TRUSTED" connection means your using a username and password from the domain/machine rather than a connection built with a SQL Server account. So, the username and password for your trusted connection is the same as the username and password for your login to the machine/domain.
