let me tell you what I do

and by the way - I do think tons of the books out there including wrox have messed up code that does not work

solution:

I buy books from bordersa and barns and nobles and I ALWAYS return them 30 days before the return policy expires.

I dont own any wrox book any more. I am smarter than that - I buy them and I return them a couple of days before the expiration of the return policy

of course - when you read it you cant mark the book and make sure you dont bend the pages - but

you gain knowledge and you dont have to spend money for misreable product

I will keep one book or two - but as you say: if code does not work after downloading it - then I get pissed and return it right away.


ASP.NET unleashed is a great book for those of you people who wants a book with code that works.
