While I realize I am only getting started in web programing, I would be very interested in participating in the programs you mentioned. Sometimes, I think it is a good idea to run some stuff by a nivuce as well as a pro because if you confuse the nvice, chances are that you might confuse the pro as well.
I myself have not as yet purchased the ASP.Net book mentioned above, but I do own 4 other Wrox books and a small assortment of the SAM's manuals. Overall, I prefer the Wrox books to the others I have (especially the two I have by Ivor Horton). I find the Wrox books, while expensive, to me are generally worth the $$ spent when it comes to having a good reference handy. Although I will admit, there have been times where I either had a problem with the code in the book, or the language itself was just confusing. But from what I have seen of some of the other manuals out there, I'd rather spend the $$ on a Wrox than end up with a 4 pound paper paperweight.
